The Humanitarian Journey with Davipharm in “Vietnam Healthcare Program”
Davipharm, in collaboration with the Vinh Long Department of Health and the Center for Health Innovation Research (CHIR), brought the Vietnam Healthcare program to the Vinh Long province. The initiative marked a meaningful milestone in connecting healthcare and the community, with impressive results.
The program provided free medical check-ups and health screenings for 4,500 disadvantaged individuals with limited access to quality healthcare across districts and the city of Vinh Long. Each participant received a personalized health profile and timely medical advice or intervention when risk factors were detected.
At the same time, 1,000 healthcare workers from the newly consolidated Vinh Long province (including Ben Tre and Tra Vinh) were trained to enhance their expertise in proactive healthcare, nutrition for prevention and treatment, and rehabilitation – strengthening human resource capacity at the grassroots level.

A key highlight was the focus on early detection and timely intervention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and gout. Patients received specialist consultations and treatment guidance to improve their quality of life. Through social media channels, the program also provided the public with valuable health knowledge, raising awareness of the importance of annual health screening.

The Vinh Long Department of Health recognized and highly appreciated Davipharm’s partnership as a successful model of public – private collaboration in healthcare, showcasing how social resources can be effectively mobilized for practical impact. More than just a medical initiative, the program contributes to the implementation of Vietnam’s national strategies on NCD prevention while promoting the development of a sustainable healthcare system.

To date, the project has achieved outstanding results:
- 10+ million people reached with NCD prevention information through media channels
- 2,700+ doctors trained in specialized knowledge
- 27,600+ individuals received free health screenings
In October 2025, the project will expand to Ho Chi Minh City, providing free health check-ups for an additional 2,000 residents.
This journey with the Vinh Long Department of Health and CHIR in 2025 is a testament to Davipharm’s unwavering commitment to improving community healthcare. As a pioneering domestic pharmaceutical company and the only partner of the Ministry of Health in implementing the national NCD prevention program, Davipharm is fulfilling its contribution to enhance quality of life and build a healthier Vietnam.

According to information from the Ministry of Health, in Vietnam, for every 100 deaths, 84 people die from NCDs. Although dangerous, NCDs can be effectively prevented through good control of risk factors. That is why Davipharm, a member of Adamed Group, has been cooperating for 5 years with the Ministry of Health in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of NCDs in Vietnam, such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia and gout, through the program “Vietnamese Health Care” free for the community.
