Formulator (R&D Technologist)

Job description

• Develop and transfer scalable methods of manufacturing from Laboratory to commercial facility.
• Prepare technical documents required for introduction of products to production facility. Not limited to sampling protocols, reports, technical instruction, batch manufacturing records.
• Perform batch size calculation, implementation of scale up factors, support formulation team for carrying process development experiments, develop new sampling tools.
• Support formulation team for order of API, RM, PM, tooling’s for registration batches
• Procurement and installation of new equipment / accessory required for laboratory. Activity includes URS preparation, IQ, OQ, PQ, SOP and training to other team members
• Support for OOS / OOT and deviation / investigation of process optimization and registration batches
• Collaborate with across geography team for document and knowledge sharing
• Changes formula or process to improve quality of current products if required
• Support to qualify new source of raw material of current products
• Trains R&D employees how to develop process as per QbD, how to perform Good documentation practices (GDP) and work in Good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Support to resolve technical issue in production in relation to R&D
• Review bilingual Vietnamese-English documents before sending to R&D Managers for approval

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Pharmacy.
• Has professional knowledge and at least 2-5 years of experience in technology transfer of pharmaceutical products in the pharmaceutical industry
• Have professional knowledge in technology transfer as per regulatory compliances
• Ability to understand working principle of all lab and factory equipment
• Ability to analyze and solve problems and has trouble shooting experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in team and collaborate with cross-function departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• MS Office: Microsoft Excel, Word
• Good communication in English
• Responsible, honest, optimist
