Davipharm’s Path To Best Workplace In Vietnam

Davipharm, a member of the Adamed Group, stands as a leading domestic manufacturer of high-quality drugs in Vietnam. With over 450 employees spread across its Binh Duong factory and Ho Chi Minh City office, the company boasts a diverse team of experts from various countries.

This diversity not only enriches the company culture but also enhances its ability to attract, recruit, and retain talented individuals by understanding and meeting their needs and expectations. As job seekers increasingly prioritize workplace security and business stability, Davipharm has become a magnet for candidates.

In 2021, Davipharm achieved a significant milestone by obtaining its first EU-GMP certification, placing it among an elite circle of companies in Vietnam meeting EU-GMP standards. This certification underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Furthermore, Davipharm’s ongoing technology transfers have created numerous job opportunities and career advancement prospects, contributing to the company’s growth and stability.

Davipharm provides medicines in 12 different therapeutic areas, with a mission to respond to key challenges of modern medicine. The company’s vision is to deliver high-quality products and services at affordable prices, thereby elevating the image of made-in-Vietnam medicines and supplying products to both local and international markets.

While employees increasingly value the community impact of their work, as a socially responsible business, Davipharm has been a steadfast supporter of local communities. The company’s contributions range from providing high-quality medicines at reasonable prices nationwide to implementing education and healthcare programs for the people of Vietnam.

In 2019, the ADAMED SmartUP program has been launched in Vietnam, making it the first country outside Poland to host this flagship program for students interested in science. This initiative, in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Hanoi, aims to expand the horizons of students at the Vietnam-Poland Friendship High School in Hanoi. The program includes English courses, environmental workshops, and the provision of educational equipment for the school. By the end of the 2023-2024 academic year, 750 students had participated in the program, with 9 winners joining the scientific summer camp in Poland.

Davipharm has the honor of being the first and only local pharmaceutical company to cooperate with the Ministry of Health in implementing a national program for the prevention and early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Since 2021, the company has been running free-of-charge healthcare screening and educational activities for patients and doctors. Within the Chăm Sóc Sức Khỏe Việt program, by now, around 11.6 million Vietnamese people have been informed about NCDs and their risk factors, over 1,900 doctors have been trained, and more than 25,000 people have been screened and early diagnosed for NCDs.

Davipharm’s commitment to employees well-being and development is reflected in its employer branding efforts. Speaking of the importance of people for business growth, Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, President of Supervisory Board of Adamed Pharma, stated, “At Adamed, we believe that business cannot grow without people. We want you to feel proud of where you work, that this becomes your dream job. A highly-motivated team is one of the main factors for business success.”

Her words were validated when Adamed Pharma was ranked 1st among employers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in the prestigious Forbes Polska Ranking: Poland’s Best Employers 2023. This recognition continued in 2024, with Adamed Pharma again being ranked 1st in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and 15th overall in Poland’s Best Employers 2024 Forbes Polska Ranking. Additionally, in the latest edition of the independent ranking of the 50 Best Polish Employers by the Polish weekly magazine Wprost, Adamed secured a high 7th place, being the only pharmaceutical company mentioned in the ranking.

In Vietnam, Davipharm’s efforts have gone noticed as well. In 2024, the company was nominated for the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam by Anphabe, reflecting its goal to become a beloved employer brand. This nomination is a testament to Davipharm’s recognition of employees as its most valuable assets and its commitment to their well-being and professional growth.
