Recent achievements underscore the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality medicines at affordable prices, while simultaneously enhancing industry standards and supporting local healthcare initiatives.

Driving innovation through advanced technology

In November 2024, Davipharm successfully conducted the Equipment Qualification for its latest machinery upgrades, including a coater and packaging line. These advancements aim to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery and superior quality of products.

The company attended the latest edition of CPHI & PMEC New Delhi 2024, reaffirming its commitment to staying at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. The event provided an opportunity to build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, laying a solid foundation for future investments and growth.

Davipharm and Adamed Group (of which Davipharm is a member) were also excited to participate in CPHI 2024 in Milan, Italy – one of the largest events in the pharmaceutical industry – and Pharmedi 2024 in HCMC. These events provided opportunities to showcase new products to customers from Europe and around the world, as well as network with the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

Davipharm has also actively participated in scientific conferences across Vietnam, reaching thousands of healthcare professionals with discussions on Geriatrics, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, Andrology, and more. Symposiums have been also organized to train hundreds of pharmacists and distributors.

Placing a strong emphasis on workforce development, the same month Davipharm organized training sessions “Certified Investigator” for employees at the factory in Binh Duong, with the participation of EU Qualified Person to boost employees’ knowledge and skills, and motivate the team.

The “Certified Investigator” project aligns with EU-GMP and WHO-GMP standards, providing essential training on handling, investigating, and resolving quality deviations to ensure the quality of medicines and patient safety. 

At the 2nd Annual EU-GMP Workshop organized by Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association (VNPCA) and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Singapore in HCMC, Mr. Michal Wieczorek, General Director of Davipharm, shared the company’s experience with EU-GMP, discussing the implementation process and challenges, including obtaining EU-GMP certification since 2021 and launching Vietnam’s first EU-GMP certified HP zone in 2024.

Recognizing excellence and supporting local community

Davipharm’s commitment to growth and excellence has been widely recognized. The company was honored with the SME100 Asia 2024 Award for Fast-Moving Companies, acknowledging its relentless pursuit of growth and innovation. It also received Asia’s Top 10 Trusted Brand Award 2024 from the Asia Business Centre in Jakarta for its significant contributions to Vietnam’s economy.

In September 2024, the company co-organized a Pharmaceutical Workshop with Van Lang University, where over 200 students learned from Davipharm experts on topics like Operations, R&D, and Data Integrity; as well as providing internships and organizing factory tours for students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HCMC.

In October, 203 students selected from Vietnam-Poland High School have joined the 6th edition of the ADAMED SmartUP program. They will participate the science and English courses lasting until end of the school year 2024/2025.  

In December, Cham Soc Suc Khoe Viet, the health prevention program, organized by Davipharm in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, has expanded free health screenings for five major non-communicable diseases (hypertension, diabetes, gout, dyslipidemia, and osteoporosis) to over 5,000 Vietnamese aged 35 and above at hospitals and medical centers in HCMC and Can Tho. The program aims to achieve an ambitious goal of 10,000 screenings by the end of the year.
