The Prime Minister Of Vietnam Met With Adamed Group

On January 17 this year, representatives of Adamed Group – Dr. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, President of the Supervisory Board, and the Team along with Michal Wieczorek, General Director at Davipharm – participated in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chính, and the Ministers of Health, Development and Technology, and Industry and Trade, during the official visit of the Prime Minister and the Vietnamese delegation to Poland.

Adamed Group presented the Vietnamese Prime Minister with an investment in Davipharm, one of the fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam. The total value of this investment since 2017 has amounted to USD 60 million, which places it among the largest Polish direct investments in the Southeast Asian region.

The discussion focused on the possibilities of supporting the development of the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry and improving the foreign trade balance by increasing the export of medicines from Vietnam. The meeting was also an opportunity to present Davipharm’s further development plans, exchange experiences in creating a modern pharmaceutical ecosystem, and emphasize the role of Davipharm as a leader and a connection between Polish innovations with the needs of the dynamically developing Vietnamese medicine market.

At the Poland-Vietnam Business Forum, organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology, and the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, Michał Wieczorek, General Director of Davipharm, presented the achievements of Adamed Group in the Vietnamese market to date. He emphasized the importance of Adamed’s investment in the development of high-quality medicines and the successful integration of culturally diverse teams and organizations.

The event program included speeches by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ministers, and experts, as well as panel discussions and meetings with representatives of businesses and government institutions from both countries.

The visit of the Vietnamese Prime Minister to Poland on 16-18 January 2025 – the first in 15 years – took place at a special moment – ​​it falls on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Vietnam.
