
R&D Manager – Head of Formulation Department
Job description:
- Supports andguide formulator in new product development and costing.
- Designs new formulas for new products, monitors stability data of designedformulas, prepares respective chapters of regulatory dossier.
- Prepares documentation for technology transfer to production (technological instruction, batch record, risk analysis).
- Performs technologytransfer to production (with technology transfer report).
- Supports validation activities.
- Supports patent check process.
- Provides the necessary documents for the Registration dossier when the data is available.
- Answers deficiency letter if necessary.
- Changes formula or process to improve quality of current products if required.
- Prepare other documents and do other activities according to manager request.
- Order qualification, check qualification documentation according to plan.
- Support to qualify new source of raw material of current products.
- Follow SOP.
- Support to resolve technical issue in production in relation to R&D.
- Support to resolve the issue in formulation area (equipment issues, quality of drug product issues, development of formulation issues,…).
- Review English documents before sending to R&D director/other departments for approval.
- Handling trainee and giving the training plan to them.
- Handling and training Technicians.
Job requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Pharmacy.
- Has professional knowledge and at least 14 years of experience in formulation development of pharmaceutical products in the pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 5 years in management position at formulation R&D.
- Have professional knowledge in drug product development.
- Ability to use all equipment in laboratory (High shear mixer, Blender, Cone mill, etc.)
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work in team.
- MS Office: Microsoft Excel, Word.
- Good communication in English.
