Senior Legal Specialist

Job description

  • Provide legal advice and draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts supporting the Company’s manufacturing and business operations, including but not limited to:
    • Domestic and international purchase agreements for raw materials, machinery, and equipment
    • Service agreements such as inspection, maintenance, software services, construction, environmental services, and fire prevention services
    • Laboratory testing agreements
    • Insurance agreements (property, fire, health, vehicle)
    • Advertising and travel service agreements
  • Commercial and Sales Agreements:
    • Distribution agreements, including exclusive distribution
    • Export agreements
    • Licensing / license-out agreements
  • R&D-related Agreements:
    • Research and development collaboration agreements
    • Technology transfer agreements
    • Contract manufacturing agreements
    • Sponsorship agreements
  • Employment-related Agreements:
    • Employment contracts
    • Training agreements
    • Internship agreements
  • Manage corporate licenses and regulatory compliance matters (excluding GMP-related licenses), including:
    • Provide legal advice on business licensing and regulatory requirements related to the Company’s operations (business conditions, environmental compliance, fire safety, etc.)
    • Coordinate with external law firms to maintain and update corporate legal documentation, including:
      • Enterprise Registration Certificate
      • Branch and Representative Office registrations
      • Other corporate filings as required by law
  • Provide day-to-day legal advisory support to internal departments on legal and regulatory matters arising from the Company’s operations, including:
    • Manufacturing activities
    • Import and export operations
    • Commercial and sales activities
    • Other operational legal matters as they arise

Job requirement

  • Have 3 to 4 years of experience in the legal field, including time working for law firms and providing in-house legal advice to businesses.
  • Bachelor of Laws, preference given to candidates who have completed lawyer training.
  • English: Good skills in drafting documents and contracts, fairly good communication.
  • MS Office: Strong Microsoft Word, basic Excel & Power Point.
  • Strong in researching and synthesizing legal regulations, and the ability to effectively use AI tools for legal research.
  • Good at communication & negotiation skills.
  • Work independently or coordinate with external legal counsel where specialized legal support is required.
  • Experience working in the cosmetics/pharmaceuticals/manufacturing industry is an advantage.
