Three students – Nguyễn Bình Minh, Lưu Châu Ngân Hà, and Nguyễn Duy Anh, winners of the 6th Edition ADAMED SmartUP from Vietnam-Poland High School (Hanoi) have just returned from Poland after joining the international science camp (Aug 15–31).

For this year, participants not only conducted research and worked on innovative solutions, but also developed empathy, listening, and teamwork skills, as shared Dr. Marta Buler, Program Coordinator.

“We give participants a space where, with equally talented peers, they can discover their passion for science – and learn how to use knowledge to solve real problems. Because that’s what science is about: changing the world for the better,” said Michał Adamkiewicz, founder and camp coordinator.

The Vietnam team joined a medical group alongside peers from Poland, while others worked in biochemistry, robotics, and AI – all guided by university experts.

  • Program by Adamed Foundation from Poland
  • Partnered with Vietnam – Poland Friendship High School in Hanoi from 2019, in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland to Vietnam
  • Provide 6-month English courses with international teachers, environmental workshops & scientific webinars with foreign experts, and the equipment for classrooms & the school’s library
  • 950 students benefited until today
  • 15 winners (12 of them traveled to Poland)
  • 6 editions completed, the 7th one to be organized.

Videos:

1. My strengths are in natural sciences, but my English is not very strong yet. Can I still join the program?
Yes. The selection process is designed to be fair and transparent. Students with strong scientific potential will have equal opportunities, even if their English skills are still developing.

2. For the essay and open-ended questions, can students use reference materials or AI tools?
Yes. Since essays and open questions allow more preparation time, students may use references and AI support. However, please note that all knowledge will be verified during the jury interview, including the student’s ability to explain and discuss in English.

3. Why is the final selection limited to around 25 students?
The Mentoring Program is carefully structured to ensure:

  • High-quality, interactive learning in small groups
  • Personalized mentoring and individual feedback for each student

This format maximizes the value of the program for participants.

4. Why are the prizes this year more valuable than before?
In addition to the Top 3 Winners, who will be awarded a 2-week Summer Camp in Poland, all participants who complete the 6-month Mentoring Program will receive valuable prizes (such as AirPods, Apple Watch, Samsung smartphones, etc.) with the option to choose from a prize list. Every student has an equal chance, keep trying your best to earn your rewards!
