As 2024 comes to a close, Davipharm – a member of Adamed Group remarks its progress and achievements. From pioneering manufacturing standards in Vietnam’s pharmaceutical sector to empowering community health, the company has solidified its position as one of leaders in the industry.

Pioneering with EU-GMP certification for HP Zone

In 2024, Davipharm reached a significant milestone in its journey – 20 years since its founding in 2004. The company marked this anniversary with substantial advancements, including completing office and factory renovations. Most notably, Davipharm has become the first company in Vietnam and region to achieve EU-GMP certification for HP Zone dedicated to manufacturing high-quality oncological drugs and steroids.  This certification highlights the  company’s commitment to high quality manufacturing standards and position Davipharm as a leader in high potent drug production.

Davipharm continued to strengthen its ties with the medical community by participating in major scientific conferences of associations and hospitals across the country. The company engaged with more than 2,000 HCPs through events about Andrology, Psychiatry, Geriatric, Musculoskeletal, Pharmaceutical, etc.

Additionally, Davipharm took part in leading international and local pharmaceutical exhibitions including CPHI Milan, Pharma Venue Madrid, Pharmedi, SAPHEX, Vietnam Medi-Pharm, etc. to share its expertise and explore new opportunities for growth.

In 2024, Davipharm expanded its product portfolio with innovative treatments for premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. The company also embraced digital transformation, launching the website zanus.vn, where patients can self-assess and get advice via hotline.

Empowering community health and public awareness

Chăm Sóc Sức Khoẻ Việt, a joint initiative between Davipharm and the Ministry of Health, continued to make a profound impact in its fourth year. The national program with the message 151 that people should do “a screening once per year” focuses on combating non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, lipid disorders, diabetes, gout, and osteoporosis.

Since 2021, more than 21,100 people have received free health screenings, including over 10,000 in 2024, showing significant growth over the years. Nearly 2,000 HCPs have undergone training to enhance their diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Close to 9 million Vietnamese people have accessed information on NCDs.

Davipharm has also launched the medical website chamsocsuckhoeviet.vn that provides information on medications and diseases, as well as offers self-health screening tools.

These efforts have improved healthcare access, raised public awareness about the importance of early detection, enhanced the quality of life for Vietnamese people.

Fostering talent and driving sustainable growth

The ADAMED SmartUP Program supports students at the Vietnam-Poland High School in Hanoi through English courses, environmental workshops, and webinars. Since its launch in 2019, in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland in Vietnam, the program has also provided funding for school equipment. Total 750 students benefited, with 12 winners earning the opportunity to attend a summer camp in Poland. The 6^th edition of the program is now underway, featuring 203 participants.

Davipharm also collaborated with top universities such as University of Medical & Pharmacy HCMC, Vietnam National University HCMC, Van Lang University, Vietnamese – German University to offer workshops, career talk, internships, and factory tours for over 1,000 pharmacy students.

The company places great emphasis on talent attraction and retention, employee training and development for continuous improvement of production quality. Key initiatives include the Training Certified Investigator, Kaizen, Insight Discovery, communication skills programs, as well as a Poland trip for the future team leaders. Davipharm has also participated in the Vietnam Best Places to Work, aligning its efforts with the pursuit of happiness at work.

In addition, the company prioritizes employees’ well-being by joining in local sport activities and offering Occupational Health and Safety and First Aid training.

As a company committed to ESG practices for sustainable business growth, Davipharm actively participates in initiatives such as Earth Hour, shares expertise at EU-GMP and business workshops, and attends key events including Vietnam – EU Cooperation Forum, US – Vietnam Industrial Manufacturing Decarbonization workshop, and the Asia Economic Forum.

Thanks to its efforts, Davipharm has been honored with prestigious awards, including Top 10 Famous Brands in Vietnam’s Pharmaceutical Industry, SME100 Asia – Fast Moving Companies, and Asia’s Top 10 Trusted Brands.

2024 was a defining year for Davipharm, filled with achievements that underline its commitment to high-quality, community health, and sustainable growth. As stepping into the next chapter, Davipharm remains steadfast in its mission to improve healthcare outcomes for people in Vietnam and beyond.

The company plans to develop 12 new products annually and expand its export capabilities to become Vietnam’s leading pharmaceutical exporter. Strategic investments in production and warehouse will ensure that Davipharm continues to meet the growing demands of both domestic and international markets.
