Launching the 4th Vietnamese Health Care – 2024
In Vietnam, for every 100 deaths, 77 people die from Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Although dangerous, NCDs can be effectively prevented through good control of risk factors. That is why Davipharm, a member of Adamed Group, has been cooperating for 3 years with the Ministry of Health in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of NCDs in Vietnam, such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia and gout, through the program “Vietnamese Health Care” free for the community.
The goal of 151 program (screening once a year) in 2024 is to support 10,000 people over 35 years old in 6 provinces and cities (Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, An Giang, Kien Giang) starting from May.
During 3 editions of this program (2021-2023) we reached:
- Over 6,9 million Vietnamese citizens with education about prevention of NCD
- Over 1,700 doctors with KOL trainings on NCD
- Over 11,100 people (8,544 in 2023) with NCD free screening at pharmacies & clinics in Hanoi, HCMC & Binh Duong
