Award of merit from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam

We are proud to share that Davipharm has been granted an award of merit – a recognition from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam for joining efforts to prevent COVID-19. The decision of MOH No. 10075/QLD-VP was published on 7th of July 2020.
Earlier this year, Davipharm secured the stock of Ivermectin for the MOH, after a collaborative study led by the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) with the Peter Doherty Institute of Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute), a joint venture of the University of Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Hospital, has shown promising results in laboratory studies as a possible treatment for COVID-19.
“We highly appreciate the efforts that the Government of Vietnam has taken so far to stop COVID-19 outbreak in Vietnam. We are proud to be able to support the fight against the pandemic and make our product available for the patients requiring treatment with it. And as much as we look forward to the vaccine invention, we are happy to prove that the presence of the local manufacturers of the high-quality medicines is essential for the country.” – said Michal Wieczorek, General Director of Davipharm, when in April this year the company announced it was ready to donate the product to Drug Administration of Vietnam.
