DAVIPHARM ACCELERATES GROWTH, INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE SECOND HALF OF 2026

The second half of 2026 has continued to challenge pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. Geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, and periodic shortages of pharmaceutical raw materials have put pressure on production planning and business continuity across the industry. Against this backdrop, Davipharm – a member of Adamed Group and one of Vietnam’s leading EU-GMP pharmaceutical manufacturers has demonstrated strong resilience, achieving significant growth while accelerating strategic investments in manufacturing, research and development, exports, sustainability, and people development.

According to IQVIA data, in MAT Q1/2026 (4/2025-3/2026), Davipharm ranked among the Top 5 domestic pharmaceutical companies across key product groups (excluding injectables), and achieved a CAGR of 10% (including injectables) comparing with 1% for the local market. During the first 6 months of 2026, the company recorded sales growth of 26% year-on-year, supported by strong commercial execution and nationwide engagement programs connecting thousands of healthcare professionals through hospitals, pharmacies, and scientific events.

Manufacturing excellence and global expansion

Davipharm achieved one of the strongest performances in its history. Year-to-date manufacturing output increased by 110 million tablets compared with the same period in 2025, while the company surpassed 700 consecutive days without a workplace accident, underscoring its commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Several strategic projects reached important milestones during the period. The Serialization Project was successfully completed, enabling compliance with European export requirements and strengthening Davipharm’s readiness for international expansion. The completion of a new encapsulation machine in the High Potent (HP) Zone further enhanced manufacturing capabilities and production flexibility.

To support future innovation, Davipharm invested almost USD 3.5 million in R&D equipment and laboratory renovation, creating a safer, more modern working environment while strengthening research capabilities for increasingly complex pharmaceutical products.

The company’s export ambitions also continued to gain momentum. Expansion projects progressed steadily into the second half of the year, among them preparations toward ANVISA certification, viewed as a strategic gateway to the Latin American pharmaceutical market.

These developments support Davipharm’s long-term vision of becoming Vietnam’s No.1 Pharmaceutical Exporter by 2033.

Building a sustainable pharmaceutical future

Beyond business growth, Davipharm has continued investing in initiatives designed to strengthen supply security, sustainability, and long-term competitiveness.

One of the company’s key strategic programs is the development of additional API sources, helping reduce dependency risks, improve supply stability, optimize costs, and enhance product quality. Such initiatives are becoming increasingly important as pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide seek greater resilience amid global uncertainty.

The company has also advanced its ESG agenda through projects such as the ESG Automatic Counter, positioning Davipharm among the early adopters in Vietnam preparing for alignment with the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

By improving supply chain transparency, ensuring responsible sourcing practices, preventing environmentally harmful activities, and actively measuring and reducing environmental impact, Davipharm is securing the sustainable growth in the future, not only for the company itself but also for the development of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry.

Investing in people – From future leaders to future scientists

Alongside operational and commercial achievements, people development remains a central pillar of Davipharm’s strategy.

The company continues strengthening its position as a best place to work through initiatives such as team building activities, training and development opportunities, the First Time Manager and Future Leader programs, the Adamed Values Contest, and a wide range of employee engagement activities designed to foster a happy workplace culture.

Going to the second half of 2026, Davipharm also intensified cooperation with universities across Vietnam. Through factory tours, internships, career talks, and educational partnerships, the company connected with more than 1,000 pharmacy students, including participants from international exchange programs.

This year, particular attention has been more given to fourth- and fifth-year pharmacy students through in-depth career sessions covering pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and development, quality systems, and career opportunities within an EU-GMP environment. These initiatives not only help bridge the gap between academia and industry but also position Davipharm as a trusted destination for future pharmaceutical talent.

Beyond higher education, since 2019, Adamed Group (of which Davipharm is a member) has partnered with Vietnam-Poland High School in Hanoi to implement the ADAMED SmartUP program. Designed to nurture scientific curiosity and international exposure among high-achieving students, the program provides English courses and scientific workshops led by international experts.

Over 7 editions, more than 970 students have participated in it, while 18 outstanding winners have earned opportunities to attend science summer camps in Poland.

In the 2025–2026 academic year alone, more than 700 students took part in placement tests, from which over 20 students were selected for an intensive six-month mentoring program. This July, the three highest-performing students travelled to Poland to participate in a two-week summer camp featuring workshops, visits to scientific institutions, exposure to research and development processes, and first-hand experience in Adamed.

As Vietnam’s pharmaceutical sector continues its transition toward higher standards, greater international integration, and sustainable growth, Davipharm enters the second half of the year pursuing multiple strategic objectives simultaneously: commercial growth, manufacturing excellence, global expansion, ESG leadership, and talent development.

While market conditions remain unpredictable, the company’s continued investments in technology, exports, sustainability, and human capital suggest that Davipharm is positioning itself not only for near-term success but also for a larger role in shaping the future of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry on the global stage.
