Davipharm Invest In People – Growing Talent From Within And Beyond

81% employee happiness – eight points above the industry average. A #4 ranking in Vietnam’s Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Healthcare Services sector. Recognition among the country’s Top 100 Best Places to Work® – Medium Enterprises and Top 50 Best Employers of Choice® for students. These results reflect how Davipharm, a member of Poland-based Adamed Group, invests in people at every stage – developing students and graduates, strengthening managers and future leaders, and building the capabilities needed for the future of healthcare. In 2025, this commitment also earned Davipharm the Happiness at Work™ Certification.

Growing leaders from within

One of the cornerstones of Davipharm’s talent strategy is the Future Leaders Program, designed to build a strong internal pipeline of leadership talent. Through hands-on workshops facilitated by Directors, participants are exposed to practical perspectives on a range of topics, including Strategy & Strategic Thinking, Finance, and Cross-Cultural Collaboration. The program strengthens their ability to apply business insights to decision-making, navigate complex challenges, lead with greater effectiveness, and foster collaboration across cultures.

Alongside it, the First Time Manager, as one of Adamed Group’s core leadership development programs equips newly promoted managers with core skills to lead their teams with confidence and impact. Sessions draw on the experience of Directors and managers, providing participants with actionable perspectives they can apply directly in their day-to-day leadership roles. Three cohorts will bring the total number of participants in 2026 to around 50 managers.

In addition, Davipharm provides mandatory management training covering Insights discovery, Situational leadership, Project management, and many others.

At Davipharm, career development extends beyond the next role – it is about helping people build a future with the organization. Since 2025, a structured succession planning system has been creating opportunities for employees to prepare for future leadership roles and broaden their career horizons. For fresh graduates, the Trainee Program offers a starting point to learn through experience, grow their capabilities, and explore a long-term career journey at Davipharm.

Every employee’s development journey is also supported through Individual development plans, personalized roadmaps that align individual growth with both career aspirations and business needs, with continuous improvements in plan quality driven by ongoing training.

Davipharm’s commitment to its people extends further still: co-finance of studies helps employees pursue further education, English classes build the language skills needed to collaborate across the company’s international network within Adamed Group, and mentoring initiatives connect employees with experienced leaders – many of whom actively participate as trainers, mentors, and speakers creating a continuous cycle of knowledge transfer and feedback across the organization.

More than 300 Davipharm employees took part in the 2026 Employer Value webinars, “Discover Davipharm as a Best Place to Work.” One of the highlights, “Not a Boss, a Mentor,” brought together Directors and managers to share real-life experiences from their day-to-day work. The session offered a candid perspective on middle management – from being mentored by others to taking on the responsibility of mentoring and developing their own teams.

Davipharm also runs the annual Certified Investigators and Certified Auditors programs to strengthen employees’ professional knowledge and keep their expertise aligned with the latest EU-GMP and WHO-GMP requirements. Led by Davipharm’s Qualified Person, the programs combine focused learning with practical evaluation, with certificates awarded to outstanding participants. To date, dozens of employees across Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Packaging & Lean, R&D, Supply, Regulatory Affairs, and Technology Transfer have successfully completed the certification programs, reinforcing both technical expertise and a culture of continuous learning.

A culture built on Power of Values

Davipharm’s people strategy is grounded in its five core values – Mutual Respect, Quality, Openness & Innovativeness, Flexibility & Speed of Action, and Operational Excellence which come to life through the Power of Values recognition program, celebrating employees who embody them in their daily work, alongside recognition initiatives for outstanding performance, Kaizen improvement ideas, and long service.

Building the next generation through academic partnerships

Davipharm’s commitment to talent development reaches well beyond its own walls. The company maintains long-term partnerships with leading academic institutions, including the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Medical College, the University of Health Sciences (Vietnam National University HCMC), Van Lang University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, and internationally, the University of Georgia in the United States – collaborations that span internships, scholarships, international exchange opportunities, career fairs, and career talks, reaching thousands of pharmacy students every year.

Since 2019, Adamed Group (of which Davipharm is a member) has also supported ADAMED SmartUP, a talent development program run in partnership with Vietnam-Poland High School in Hanoi, nurturing young scientific talent through English-language courses and science workshops led by international experts, with top-performing students earning a place at an overseas science camp. Over 7 editions, the program has engaged more than 970 students, with 18 winners (15 of them joined the science camp in Poland).

Building on this foundation, ADAMED SmartUP is charting a new direction – deepening and broadening its network of university collaborations to extend the reach of program and knowledge exchange to more institutions and more students.

From structured leadership pipelines and personalized development plans to education, mentoring, and a growing network of university partnerships, Davipharm’s people strategy reflects a simple but powerful belief: sustainable business growth starts with sustained investment in people.
